Hi, it’s Sarah, the artist and printer behind Questionable Press.
I am so deeply inspired by the natural world. It is important that I make my work as environmentally friendly as possible. Here’s how I do that:
- All paper is 100% recycled. Some is made from 100% post consumer waste paper, others are a mix between post-consumer and pre-consumer waste.
- As of January 2021, I am transitioning to using Algae Ink from Living Ink Incorporated for all black ink.
- As of January 2021, I am transitioning to using Caligo Safe Wash Ink for color inks, though I will also be finishing up other (less environmentally friendly) ink I own.
- The paper instructions in the paper sculptures are now 100% recycled.
- The clear plastic sleeves used for packaging are plant-based plastic.
- Paper based tape is used for all packaging.
- Either paper based or recycled material is used for packaging.
